ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier: Afghanistan won by 2 wickets

Afghanistan captain Nabi won the toss chose to field first. Afghanistan's bowlers were very poor in this match normally Afghan’s bowlers are very good at this level, they have managed only 3 Danish wickets. Danish batters played  very but did not manage to score 150 plus only  Refstrup Pedersen scored 36 he batted fluently. The wicket was very slow it was difficult to play lofted shots because ball does not get enough bounce. In this conditions one will think Afghanistan will chase the target easily but this was not the case. Denmark bowled brilliantly took 3 Afgan wickets inside 4.2 over’s.
When N. Zadran came to bat Afgan was in danger of losing 2nd match of the qualifiers. N. Zadran played beautifully top scored 61 off 34 with  hitting 5 sixes. Mohammad Nabi gave him good support scored 25 of 11 deliveries. When Zadran fell, Afghanistan were coasting to victory at 132 for 6 in 13.2 over’s. They lost 2 more wickets when victory was in matter of time. They are  level with Netherlands at the top of Group B. Afghanistan’s  form indicates that they will qualify for the 2014 main event. Experts  think Afgan will give good fight vs. test playing nation in T20 format.
